Discover Winnipeg’s rich historic past on a guided city tour. Departing from Union Station, our professional guide will take visitors to various areas of the city, providing commentary along the way. Learn about the Forks; St. Boniface (Winnipeg’s French Quarter and home to a thriving Franco-Manitoban community and the St. Boniface Basilica); The Exchange District (home to one of North America’s finest collections of turn-of-the-last century architecture); and the Manitoba Legislative Building, built in the Beaux-Arts style using fossil-rich Manitoba Tyndall limestone, and replete with mysterious Masonic references. Includes three stops. This tour can be customized if other stops are of interest including the Assiniboine Park.

The Prairie Theatre Exchange School

Spend the afternoon at the PTE School where the group will participate in a theatre workshop. This can include, but is not limited to: acting, improvisation, musical theatre, filmmaking, Shakespeare, masks, playwriting, storytelling, or theatre design. PTE presents five adult plays every season, specializing in new Canadian works and ranging from hilarious comedies to searing dramas. The theatre features a unique thrust stage, with audiences on three sides, resulting in an intimate and unique experience. Season runs from October through April.
