The Manitoba Museum is located downtown in Winnipeg historic Exchange District and is within walking distance from downtown hotels and a 5-minute drive from the RBC Convention Centre.

The Manitoba Museum is unique in Canada, as it is the only heritage and science centre to offer a combination of world-class history galleries along with a science gallery and planetarium theatre.Offering a magnificent state-of-the-art event hall, with built-in technical capabilities and lighting options, we will help you transform the space for your special event and work with some of the best catering and audio visual companies in the city. 

The Museum Galleries can accommodate up to 1200 people, for a one-of-a-kind progressive meal with stand-up style cocktail receptions, in a variety of settings and combinations depending on your needs.

Newly refreshed Alloway Hall is customizable and can accommodate up to 500 guests for sit down dinner, featuring state of the art lighting, large windows and high ceilings, allowing beautiful natural lighting into the venue.

Host live speaker presentations, delivered in the Planetarium Theatre with seating for 237.  from the built-in stage, can be projected on the dome for all to see. Make your event stellar in the comfort of the Planetarium Theatre

Make your event fun and engaging in the Science Galleries as you and your guests test the universal laws of science and explore the wonders of technology and illusion, available for up to 200 guests.

Additional rental spaces include the Festival Hall (reception for 225), Auditorium (237 seats), Boardroom (20 guests), Library (32 guests) and Matheson Reading Room (8 guests).
