Historical and Beautifully Renovated

Founded in 1874, the Manitoba Club is Western Canada's oldest business and social club.

Location:
Nestled in downtown Winnipeg at 194 Broadway, the recently restored heritage clubhouse balances historic grandeur and proud traditions, with modern day comforts, to create a truly exceptional guest experience.

Amenities and Services:

The Manitoba Club is home to the most elegant and technologically advanced meeting and event rooms in the province. From parties of two to 450 guests, the club can accommodate virtually any style of event ranging from business meetings and intimate dinners to client appreciation events, awards receptions and weddings. The club has the venue and amenities to make your next event unique and memorable for your guests.

In 2007, the club completed a major renovation and restoration of the catering level of the clubhouse. The Grand Ballroom can now accommodate groups of up to 250 people for a sit-down meal service and can be subdivided into three separate rooms with sound absorbing panels to accommodate more intimate gatherings. What sets this space apart is not immediately noticeable, but includes:

  • Four inset 65-inch plasma displays that are capable of displaying presentation media throughout each of the ballrooms
  • Two robotic ceiling cameras capable of broadcasting the head table or event speaker throughout each of the ballrooms
  • Full room blackout capabilities and acoustical engineering which, when combined, provides the ultimate environment for presentations and events
  • Full wireless audio and internet capabilities

All this, and we have yet to mention the club's first-class culinary and service teams led by a group of Manitoba's most talented and dedicated professionals: Executive Chef Albertino Costa, Food and Beverage Manager Thomas Johnson, Sommelier Domer Rafael, and our Director of Special Events Elaine Belbas. As an added benefit of hosting your event at the Manitoba Club, our Marketing and Design Services Coordinator, is pleased to create a complimentary custom menu card and accompanying table numbers (if required), that include your corporate logo and colours, for your next event that is hosted at the club.
