Bring the Family

No matter what season you’ll always find something super cool to do for kids of all ages.

By: Meetings Winnipeg // August 15, 2018

Winnipeg is chalk-a-block full of child-centric things to see and do, from summers on splash pads and epic playgrounds, to winters on ice when Winnipeg’s design community and festivals turn the city into a storybook like wonderland.

Pick a local hotel with a water park onsite and become an instant hero. Five Canad Inns locations in Winnipeg have Splasher’s Indoor Pool and Waterslides inside, while Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre and the Holiday Inn Winnipeg - Airport West are just a few local hotels with kids play structures, pools and water features.

Go snow tubing, zip lining, go-cart racing or let them run off some steam (while learning a few things) at Variety Heritage Adventure Park at The Forks. Explore the interactive exhibits and galleries inside the Children’s Museum and the Manitoba Museum – which also houses one of the world’s most advanced Planetariums. Or, take them to Assiniboine Park to run wild on the massive Nature Playground, followed by an afternoon in Assiniboine Park Zoo where the wild things really are.
