Those Who Made the Winter is an Indigenous-led walking tour at The Forks that brings winter survival to life. With a cup of Labrador Tea in hand, guests learn how First Peoples used shelter, food, community, and star knowledge to master winter, including stories of Peguis and “The Falcon.” It’s engaging, family-friendly, and great for visitors, locals, school groups, and corporate teams. Tours run December–March at The Forks in Winnipeg.
