Jeff Gobeil is an Indigenous comedian with ties to Poplar River First Nation and South Junction who mixes sharp storytelling with self-deprecating humor and raw honesty. His comedy often explores themes of being a modern Indigenous Man, sobriety, mental health, and resilience, while finding the funny in everyday struggles. Jeff has performed across Winnipeg’s comedy stages, producing shows like Joke Around N’ Find Out and Mixtape Comedy Series, and was recently featured in the Winnipeg Comedy Festivals Bannock Bums show! Vōng Shō is the official spokesperson for gay, super cute Asians, spreading enlightenment through laughter on stages across the globe.
Vōng is the founder of Comedy Cares, partnering comedians and charities to raise funds for worthy causes. He also served as Chair of the JUNO Comedy Album of the Year and is the creator of the hugely popular RICE: Asian Comedy Showcase. Vōng has been featured on CBC (Radio One, The National, Fresh Air, My Toronto), CTV (The Social), SiriusXM, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, MTV Logo Network (One Night Stand Up).
